Boating: is allowed at Friendship Park.  Gas engines may be used on boats (9.9 horsepower limit), or boats with only one electric motor. Kayaking and canoeing are encouraged.


Fishing is allowed at Friendship Park from dawn until dusk. The lake holds catfish, bass, blue gill, carp, and trout. Campers can fish at night and others can fish later into the evening during special events. Permits are not required for special events. With the exception of carp, all fish are to be immediately released alive.  For complete fishing rules and regulations click here.


Deer Hunting with bows is allowed at Friendship Park. All State of Ohio hunting regulations are in effect. All hunters must see park management for a free park hunting permit and orientation. Hunters must also abide by all other park and camping rules. There is NO GUN SEASON at Friendship Park.
